Due to the fact that I may not be able to be around much (I'm not sure of my situation quite yet), I've given Raven permission to take over the forum. I will still be here when I can, but this way I can be sure that things are getting done if I'm not around. She will be accepting character forms from now on, and may make changes around the boards as she sees fit. I believe she will be finishing up some things I never got around to, such as packs and territories, so you wont have to keep looking at unfinished boards.

Everyone, I am terribly sorry that no staff have been on lately. I am not planning on shutting down the forum, so don't worry. I just moved out of town a few weeks ago and couldn't bring my computer with me. Where I'm living now I haven't been able to get sufficient internet access to be able to really do anything, much less run a site. I know that I should have given notice of my hiatus, and I'm sorry. I gave Raven permission to take over the forum in my absence, but I haven't been able to check and make sure she could be around or to see that things have been getting done, which it would seem they have not.
I believe I should be around more in the near future. I am here in town to pick up my computer and it sounds like I'll have a place to set it up and have internet. So yay! Things should pick up again around here pretty quick. I'll be going through character sheets tonight, so new members can get to roleplaying, and then I may have time in the next few days to get some other work done as well.

Gang News
Each 'gang' will have its own name and ranking. These are for people's characters who do NOT have a pack and want to create their own unofficial pack. It is a way for the dogs to still feel in charge, but at the same time be kept in line by the major packs of the site. They can be taken over and fought with just like any other pack. But remember, you MUST follow the guidelines for gangs and packs. It is important because there are time limits on such info.

1. No spamming or flooding.
2. Do not post anything sexual or offensive.
3. Be respectful to each other. This means no harassing others and no fighting. It will not be tolerated.
4. Do not attempt to impersonate others. It will only result in you being banned from the Cbox.
5.No advertising! That's what the advertising board is for. You may put a link in your name, but don't pester people to click it.

Laws of the Streets The rules and must reads can be found here, so please make sure you stop by and get familiar with them. New members must read the rules before posting, and old members should check back frequently for changes.
Creation (1 sub-board) This is where you post when you are ready to create a character and begin roleplaying. Just fill out the form provided and wait for a staff member to accept it. You must wait for your form to be accepted before you may post in the RP sections of the forum.
New Lives When your dog is ready to give birth, post here using the form provided. A staff member will let you know how many puppies are born, their genders and their health. You may decide everything else.
Adoptions From here you can give your unwanted characters away to other members, or you may even adopt new ones. This is also where puppies should go for adoption.

Character/Gang Logs (1 sub-board) This is where you, OOC, can introduce yourself as a person and get to know other members, as well as keep track of things like your character's threads, plots and other information. Gang logs are kept here as well.
Character Graveyard The sheets for characters that have passed away will be moved here. Keep in mind that this board is only for characters that have actually died. Characters that are just inactive will be deleted.

Packlands
The City
Northside Up at the northern end of the city is where the nicer, richer neighborhoods are located. The houses here, crammed together side by side, all look the same, but if a dog knows the right trashcans to dig through good meals are easy to come by. Many of the humans here own their own dogs, but strays don't have to worry about them too much as they are all either locked inside, chained up or stuck behind fences.
Southside At the southern end of the city is where you will find the poorer neighborhoods. Most of the houses here are old and worn down, and many are empty all together, falling apart from lack of care over the years. Dogs, stray and owned alike, roam the streets as they please, and territories are often crossed and tempers tested. You never know when you are treading where you aren't wanted. Food and shelter are fairly hard to come by, so be prepared to fight for what little of anything you can find, or someone else will take it for themselves.

Downtown (1 sub-board) Here the traffic in the streets is constant, and people, crowded together on the sidewalks, are always present. Shops, bars and restaurants can be found on nearly every corner, and with them, a chance for desperate dogs to forage or beg for scraps. It is a dangerous and chaotic place for most dogs, but there are those that have learned to survive here. -- Home of the Shadow Pack.
Apartments An apartment complex that seems to have been forgotten. This old, four story building has been empty for several years, and is beginning to fall apart. The brick foundations are crumbling away, and many of the windows are cracked or broken entirely. It is still in good enough shape to provide comfortable shelter, however, so long as you don't mind peeling paint and stained carpets.
Junkyard Located near the poorer end of town is a small junkyard. It is full of all kinds of things useless; piles of scrap metal, car tires, broken furniture, ruined electronics, trash, trinkets... but it is a good hide-out for stray dogs. Discarded couches and old mattresses make for comfortable bedding, and it is relatively safe as humans don't often come here. When they do, it is only to dump more garbage and useless items.

Old Church (1 sub-board) A large, stone building that seems to have lost it's purpose. It's heavy wooden doors no longer latch and rest open far enough apart for most dogs to be able to fit through. Inside it is damp and musty. There are rows of old, rotting pews, and at the back sits an elaborate, molding altar. A few random trinkets have been left here, but for the most part the building is empty. Years of rain and wind have worn down the stones and cracks let in drafts and leaks in bad weather. Moss and ivy grow almost everywhere, and creep in through the broken, boarded up windows.
Railroad District Old railroad tracks run just along the outskirts of the city. They haven't been used in several years and are rusted and rotting, and littered with bits of garbage and debris. Empty train cars still remain here, however, a few still on their tracks and a few fallen over, making for a good place for stray dogs to find shelter if nothing else.
Empty Fields Flat, dry fields make up much of the area just outside the city, most likely space put aside for expansion that has yet to come. The grass here is dry and brittle for the most part, though during the wetter seasons it does get a bit greener and softer. Small birds and rodents live here, and make their homes in the grass. This is an ideal place for dogs that want to roam freely, for humans never venture here.
The Fen Where the fields of the city open out onto an area of preserved wilderness, the ground becomes spongy, muddy and waterlogged, rather without warning. Tall reeds and spiky shrubs grow here, and the water is stagnant and covered by thick, green blankets of algae. Insects, lizards and frogs of all kinds are abundant here, as are snakes.

Woodland A small patch of preserved wilderness sitting a little ways outside of the city. A creek flows through the area, though no fish live in it, and plant life flourishes. Most of the trees are young and small, but they are healthy. Deer, foxes and rabbits are among the more common animals to be found here.
The Beach This is the beach where every dog can come and play. This is open territory. (No one may claim). All breeds are accepted here and may do what they choose within reason. This is a social place.
